How should I plan my visit for Lasik?

You should visit us at least a day prior to lasik day for detailed evaluation. On that day we will do thorough checkup and advice you regarding dos and don’t for before and after procedure. Lasik evaluation takes approximately 1 hour .
Make sure you discontinue using your soft contact lenses 1 week and hard or semisoft contact lenses 3 weeks prior to your visit for evaluation.
Lasik is performed twice a week so kindly intimate us regarding your date of visit in advance.
After lasik procedure we will examine you next day .Overseas patients may show us after 3 days again and leave for respective countries or they may continue their plan for sightseeing in our beautiful country and visit us again after 1 week.
Can I travel in India after procedure?
Yes its safe to travel anytime 2 days after the procedure.Just avoid dust and direct contact with water atleast for 1 month after procedure. That means you can enjoy watching sea but avoid swimming for atleast 1 month. You should also avoid direct steam on your eyes atleast for 2 to 3 weeks. Try wearing good protective eyeglass while traveling outdoors so as to avoid dust and direct sunlight. If you take basic minimum care and stick to your drop schedule you can enjoy your vacation and that to without any glasses or contact lenses.
 
How are you different from other centers?
We are ISO certified hospital for eye care.We strive to bring latest equipment to our facility to maintain international standars in eye care.All surgeries are performed by fellowship trained surgeons with extensive experience in that particular subspeciality.Our hospital is registered with all major mediclaim providers and also empanelled with central government health scheme after accredition by Quality control of India.We have also applied for NABH accredition.
For lasik we use Allegretto Wave EyeQ 400 Hz machine which is undoutedly todays most advanced technology .Allegretto technology is FDA approved.Newer features like larger optical zone and true spot technology makes this procedure a very gratifying experience.
 
Will you assist me to arrage my trip?
Yes we will be glad to help you. Thane is a big city with good facility to stay. There are number of 4 star and 3 star hotels which suite all budgets .We can also direct you to travel agents who can help you arrange your transport and stay in India and guide you through various tourist spots.
