Dr. Prajakta Deshpande completed her graduation from Government Medical College Nanded with a gold medal in Ophthalmology to her credit.
After completing her post-graduation from RGUHS University Bangalore in 2003, she completed her long-term Fellowship in Anterior Segment Microsurgery including phacoemulsification from the world-renowned Aravind Eye Hospital Madurai from 2004 to 2006.
At the end of her fellowship, she was selected as a Phaco Trainer to train postgraduates, short term Phaco Trainees & Number of Overseas Trainees too.
She is known for finest surgical skills with the 13 years of experience
She has attended a number of National & International Conferences. She is a member of Bombay Ophthalmic Association & Maharashtra Ophthalmic Association.
